London is a very diverse city. Subcultures or many niche cultures can be well developed here. I heard that ual students can wear whatever clothes they like for class, so I can see all kinds of dressing styles on the university campus. There are also lots of colors and artistic atmosphere on the streets, and street artists will add a lot of artistic flavor to the city. These can provide inspiration and help for my study life in London.
The United Kingdom is a country full of artistic atmosphere. Every year, many international students come to UK to study art majors, which makes this country more international. Compared to Shanghai where I live, I can be more exposed to the artistic and fashion characteristics of various countries. At the same time, this country is filled with tolerance. It has a supportive attitude towards those currently very hot topics such as LGBT, women’s rights, etc., and will not inhibit the occurrence of demonstrations. As far as fashion is concerned, we not only need to look for topics which based on life but higher than life for research, such as some fantasy and ideas in the mind, but also those fact-related issues are also worthy of being explored and then interpreted in design. Therefore, I can get close to these topics in the UK.
Plus, London is also attracting world’s attention in the fields of fashion. The four famous fashion weeks worldwide will also be held here. There will also be a lot of fashion icons coming to London to add a fashionable atmosphere to the whole city, and at the same time under this condition, this city will have more fashion-related industries and job opportunities compare to the others.
